And if the materialism have come back to the heart of architecture? A new method of conception that takes the material as starting point and ideal tools was tested by a class of 39 Masters students in the Architecture program at McGill University. Sample tables, artifacts, drawings, explanatory pictures, interactive sites and models give the experience a tangible narrative.
This laboratory of the "concrétude" were directed by architects Manon Asselin and Katsuhiro Yamazaki - associated TAG Workshop, young renowned Montreal firm (Prix de Rome 2008).

REVIEW:
A fascinating look on the use of
simple materials to create complex
yet wonderful buildings. I got there to see
blueprints of each architect's
imagination, along with samples of the materials
being placed in the middle
of the gallery. Don't miss out on this exhibit!
